Alanna the Brand is an independent brand run solely by me, from design to making and all of the business stuff in between. I'm an Irish designer, based in London where I moved to pursue my fashion career. I spent 5 years working jobs in the industry that sent me travelling around the world - trust me it wasn't as glamorous as it sounds. And now, I've finally given myself the push to pursue my dream of having my own brand. 

As a small brand, I do things a bit differently here. All of your pieces are handmade to order with love and care, from my little sewing corner in the living room of my London flat. This means that everything you see here is made in limited quantities. This allows me to cut down on waste and make sure I don't buy any excess fabrics - this isn't fast fashion. 

Having worked as both a designer and pattern cutter, I really care about making sure that everything is well made. It really is the little details that make a garment stand out and I spend ages working on each range to make sure that it's just right. I mull over every seam and detail so that each piece gives you that perfect comfy fit and brings you joy. I source high quality fabrics to make sure your pieces are made with longevity in mind - I make pieces that you will want to keep in your wardrobe for years to come. 

My dream is to see Alanna the Brand stocked in stores one day and also to have my own design and sewing studio to work from. I've got big plans for this little brand and I can't wait for you to be part of the journey.
